I had a decent stay at Lavender Hotel, mainly due to its prime location near Ben Thanh Market and friendly staff. However, the shower was a significant downside, as it couldn't be adjusted properly and had inconsistent water temperature throughout my visit.
Rooms
6.0
The room was clean and modern, but the shower height was below my shoulder and the water pressure was low, which was frustrating.

The staff were incredibly polite and accommodating. especially Chris at the reception, who handled our check-in smoothly even amidst a busy evening.

I had a pleasant stay at Lavender Hotel, situated conveniently near the Ben Thanh markets. While the location was excellent, and the breakfast was tasty, I encountered some issues with the shower and room maintenance. which detracted from the overall experience. The staff were friendly and quick to resolve a booking mix-up, though some mechanical upgrades could enhance the stay.
Rooms

The rooms were small but clean and tidy, with modern amenities. though some had tiny windows, and I noticed bits of mould on the grout, which could use some attention.

The service was generally good, with attentive staff. especially the doorman who was always polite. However, I faced communication issues at times and there were some errors regarding charges that left a poor impression.

I had mixed feelings about my stay at Lavender Hotel. The location was great, close to the night market and lots of dining options. However, the cleanliness and maintenance of the room left a lot to be desired. Overall, I wouldn’t say I had a terrible experience, but I definitely expected more.
Rooms

My room was spacious, but the cleanliness was a major drawback. There were stains on the curtains and walls, and the showerhead was poorly positioned. The air conditioning worked well, which was a relief in the heat.

I had mixed feelings about my stay at Lavender Hotel. The location in District 1 was fantastic and right near Ben Thanh Market, which made exploring the area easy. However, I found the cleanliness and upkeep of the hotel to be subpar, with many dirty surfaces and poorly maintained facilities. Despite some friendly staff, I encountered multiple issues that detracted from an otherwise centrally located experience.
Rooms
6.0
The room's cleanliness was disappointing, with stains on curtains and walls. While it was a decent size for three people, I was not impressed with the state of the shower, which often sent water everywhere instead of containing it in the tub.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and helpful, but I did have an inconvenient experience when needing to find an alternative bathroom that required going down an alley filled with garbage. This made me question the cleanliness behind the scenes.
Location

The hotel’s location is one of its best features, being very close to many attractions, including Bitexco Tower and the market. I appreciated being in such a central area in District 1, which made getting around very convenient.
Dining

Breakfast was available from 6 AM to 10 AM, but I found the food to be often lukewarm, which was a letdown. One of the waiters, Hai, was exceptionally helpful and friendly, enhancing our dining experience.
Facilities

The facilities were not as expected. The hallways along the hotel were dirty, and I noticed that the maid only made the bed during our stay without replacing towels or toilet paper, which wasn't ideal.

I had a mixed experience during my stay at the Lavender Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. On one hand, the location near Ben Thanh market was fantastic, and I enjoyed the breakfast starting early in the morning. However, I faced several cleanliness issues and some service hiccups that detracted from my overall impression.
Rooms
6.0
The room was reasonably modern, but it felt strange that many rooms lacked real windows, and I noticed some areas needed better maintenance. The shower had a tendency to spray water everywhere, making it tricky to use without causing a mess.
Service
7.0
The staff was friendly and attentive, which I appreciated. However, I did encounter a few issues with the reception regarding some minor misunderstandings that were resolved but could have been handled more smoothly.
Location

I loved the breakfast buffet; it had an impressive range of choices. The quality of food during lunch and dinner was also good, and the staff, particularly one named Hai, were very helpful and personable.
Facilities

Although the facilities were generally fine, there were some cleanliness issues that stood out, such as dust in corners and some wear in the bathrooms that needed attention. The elevator lighting made it hard to read the numbers, which was a minor inconvenience.
